Ben Gallant
Growing up in a musical family, Ben is a grandson of Alphy Perry (Shiloh), and a nephew to island artist Peggy Clinton. Beginning to perform on stage at a very young age, he has become very comfortable on stage and become an entertainer just as his family is well known for.

At the Age of 13, Being the eligible age to enter his very first PEI Mutual Youth Talent Competition, he won the competition at the Tignish Irish Moss festival where he moved on to the provincial finals. He then won the Provincials and went to London, Ontario and became the youngest youth to date to represent PEI in the National Youth Talent Competition where he Ranked 2nd in Vocalists ages 13-21.

Shortly after, Ben began playing Gigs at local Bars, Pubs, ect, at the age of 15. He has improved tremendously with all the experience of playing almost every friday and saturday since. Ben has also worked for Hope Studio (West Prince) and has studio experience as a Bass Player and a Harmony vocalist.

After graduating from Westisle High School. Ben took up the hobby of song writing and has since written his very first album "Down the Road" which will be available in June 2016 and will feature 8 original songs and 2 cover songs. The album was produced in Yarmouth, NS by Bruce Boudreau. On this album Ben is playing Rhythm Guitar, Bass Guitar, Mandolin, as well doing lead vocal and harmony. The album is a variety of country/folk genre. Ben is very excited for people to hear the album and what he is capable of as a musician, songwriter, and vocalist.
