Dan has played lead trumpet with the John Alphonse Big Band for 7 years in Halifax. While in Halifax, he played with the Temptations, the Spinners, and has done numerous studio recordings for CD, radio and TV.
Dan played in the "Pit" for Anne, The Musical, Babies, and Swing at the Confed. He arranged horn parts for Cd's by T. Doyle, Kelley Mooney, Stephane Bouchard, and others.
He arranges the music for the Holy Redeemer Candlelight Service each December for full orchestra and chorus.
UPEI Wind Symphony and Charlottetown Jazz Ensemble keep him busy, too.
