Shannon is an Islander born and raised. Like many Islanders she grew up trying different instruments and singing in local choirs and music festivals but she would never consider herself a musician. "That's an insult to the real musicians!" She worked in Film and Televison as an Assistant Director for 8 years in Vancouver, BC but returned home to the Island at the end of 2006.
Shannon quickly immersed herself in the ever growing local music scene. Having worked as the Production Manager in 2008, 2009 for the East Coast Music Awards nationally televised broadcast and the Producer for the Annual Music PEI Awards in 2008, 2009 and 2010 her passion for the local industry is undeniable. No stranger to event management (Fall Flavours) Shannon tackles music management with the same commitment. Working closely with the artists to help expose their music to a larger audience and achieve their goals.
In 2009 Shannon formed luck productions. luck productions is an Island based Entertainment Company specializing in Event & Talent Management, PR (cyber & traditional), Photography and talent booking.
Shannon was a member of the Music PEI Board of Directors from 2008-2011 serving 1 term as secretary and 2 terms as president.
