The Cashmere Disciples began as a folk duo with singer/songwriter Drew Heggie and drummer Joel Walker. They quickly added fellow Shoppers Drug Mart employee Phil White on lead guitar, and the band was on their way. Just before recording their first e.p., "We Rode Off", they added classically-trained pianist Berne Driscoll on keys, and had Miles Kinnee on bass. In 2008 the band added local singer/songwriter Drea Macdonald on bass and backing vocals, and the band hasn't looked back since. They've recorded and released a full-length CD ("In With The Old"), and have been playing regularly in the Charlottetown rock scene.
