Final Awards Handed Out at Credit Union May Run Music Festival

May 18, 2015 | Catherine MacLellan, Gordie MacKeeman and His Rhythm Boys and Deryl Gallant took home the final three awards of the Credit Union May Run Music Festival last night which were handed out at the festival's Closing Concert presented by AM Burgoyne Insurance.

About Music Prince Edward Island

Music PEI is a non-profit member services organization devoted to advancing careers of Island musicians. Music PEI is actively seeking ways to promote, foster and develop artists and the music industry on PEI. The association acts as an advocate for the Island music industry and a representative at the national table.

Having established a full time office with an Executive Director, Music PEI administers a funding program designed to encourage growth by providing financial assistance to the industry. This funding is made possible through the assistance of the PEI Provincial Government Department of Tourism & Culture.

Music PEI is guided by a Board of Directors. Directors serve three year terms and are elected annually at the Music PEI AGM and are governed by the Music PEI Bylaws.
