CBC Television?s East Coast Sessions
Last summer, for two weeks, the CBC TV studio in Halifax was bursting at the seams with great music. In all, 14 artists played to live studio audiences in an intimate setting. The result is a great-looking and sounding 9-part series on CBC Television in the Maritimes, and a kick-ass East Coast Sessions website.
Prince Edward Island artists include Nathan Wiley, Catherine MacLellan and Rose Cousins. Also included are Nova Scotians Joel Plaskett, Jenn Grant, Meaghan Smith, Andrew White, Gordie Sampson, Old Man Leudecke, Fall Horsie, and Jill Barber. Plus David Myles (NB); Hey Rosetta and Amelia Curran (NL). Music fans will love these shows.
