Haunted Hearts walk away with 4 Music PEI Awards!
In front of a packed house at the Confederation Centre of the Arts in Charlottetown, PEI the 2011 Music PEI Week came to a glorious close with the 10th Annual Music PEI Awards Gala hosted by Fraser MacCallum and Lennie MacPherson.
In a week that saw a number of awards handed out at venues across the province, a total of 14 awards were handed out Gala Night. Those awards were: Video of the Year, Fan’s Choice Weekend Warrior, New Artist of the Year, Pop Recording of the Year, Lifetime Achievement, Rock & Loud Recording of the Year, Alternative Recording of the Year, Rooted to the Island Award, Lynn Grishko Bursary, Group Recording of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, Entertainer of the Year and Album of the Year.

In a night filled with incredible musical performances from the 2011 Music PEI Award nominees among the most memorable was the finale – a tribute to Gene MacLellan that featured John Connolly, Meaghan Blanchard, Catherine MacLellan, Colette Cheverie, Katie McGarry, Scott Parsons and Rose Cousins among others.
