MIAFest for ECMA 2011 – Full Details!!
Music Newfoundland & Labrador, Music Nova Scotia, Music New Brunswick and Music Prince Edward Island, in collaboration with the East Coast Music Association, are extremely proud to announce the second annual MIAFest, a cooperative showcase stage featuring seven artists from each Atlantic Music Industry Association (MIA).
MIA Fest will once again be an exciting mix of artists from all genres, programmed by the MIA’s from each pro…vince. It will take place Thursday, April 14 to Saturday, April 16 at the Murphy Centre on Richmond Street in Charlottetown. Tickets are only available at the door $10, starting at 8 p.m. each night. Also at the Selkirk Dining Room in the Delta Hotel, artists will appear from Thursday, April 14 through Sunday, April 17. Each MIA will host a segment of the weekend.
This collaboration was a huge success last year in Sydney and the line-up this year promises to make it one of the hottest tickets in town.
The MIA’s have once again put together an incredible diverse selection of artists that range from established and highly successful artists such as Newfoundland and Labrador’s Hey Rosetta and Nova Scotia’s Slowcaster to emerging artists like Racoon Bandit from PEI and Lovestorm from New Brunswick. This line-up truly does have something for everyone!
