N3XT TV is seeking for emerging PEI musicians to become their house band! This contest is now open and they will be accepting demos until March 18th. http://n3xt.ca/
The winning band will walk away with some sweet prizes including a regular gig on N3XT TV and a spot in the PEI Showcase at the upcoming East Coast Music Awards (ECMAs) in Charlottetown.

Contestants will be asked to submit an application form as well as a sample of original music to the competition judging panel. The panel will review all submissions and select five (5) bands to compete in the N3XT TV House Band Competition.
The winner will be chosen by the competition judging panel and awarded the following:
* – production services for development of a 6 song CD/EP compilation;
* – professionally produced music video for an original music selection;
* – an appearance at the Alibi Lounge during the East Coast Music Awards on the official Music PEI Showcase Stage;
* – one year membership in Music PEI;
* – regular appearances and opportunities for musical contribution on N3XT TV.
How to Apply
Download and complete the N3XT TV House Band competition application form.
Submit your application form, band photograph and audio sample of original music to the competition selection committee no later than 5 PM, Friday March 18, 2011.
Submit your application in person to the Music PEI office located at:
