Showcase PEI 2012 Artists Announced
Music PEI is very pleased to announce showcasing artists for our fifth annual buyer’s conference, Showcase PEI 2012. The past four years were very successful in creating substantial work for Island artists and we are looking forward to bringing this opportunity to you again for 2012.
Showcase PEI 2012 will take place September 24 and 25.
Buyers have been recruited from festivals, venues, conferences, agents and promoters from across Canada, USA and the UK. Each artist will have a 20 minute showcase set. Music PEI will provide full backline and professional sound presentation.
Showcase PEI 2012 will feature the following export ready or currently exporting Island artists.

Music PEI is very pleased to announce an added feature to our fifth annual buyer’s conference, Showcase PEI 2012. The past four years were very successful in creating substantial work for Island artists and we are looking forward to bringing this opportunity to emerging artists/group through our Next Wave opportunity.
This opportunity is open to artist who were not selected to showcase at Showcase PEI or artists who do not meet the exporting/export ready criteria.
Showcase PEI 2012 will take place September 24 and 25. Buyers have been recruited from festivals, venues, conferences, agents and promoters from across Canada, USA and the UK. Each artist in the Next Wave will have a 15 minute showcase set. Music PEI will provide full backline and professional sound presentation.
Showcase PEI 2012 already features export ready or currently exporting Island artists, but this call for submission is an opportunity for emerging artists to showcase.
There are six Showcase PEI: Next Wave emerging artist showcase spots.
Applications will be reviewed and selected by an independent jury.

Deadline for submissions is Friday August 24th, 2012 at midnight.
All submissions must be received by Music PEI before the deadline to be eligible.
