Request for Proposals: Photography Services
Introduction
Music PEI is a non-profit member services organization devoted to advancing careers of Island musicians. Music PEI is actively seeking ways to promote, foster and develop artists and the music industry on PEI. The Association acts as an advocate for the Island music industry and a representative at the national table.
Music PEI is soliciting bids from qualified photographers for Metro Credit Union Music PEI Week 2013 taking place from January 25 – February 2, 2013.
Final proposals must be received at the address below (or via email) by Friday, November 16, 2012. Questions can be submitted prior to the deadline and will be answered within two business days via email.

Description of Work
Photography services are required at the following events. Note: events are subject to change as plans for Metro Credit Union Music PEI Week continue to evolve.
Friday, January 25 (evening): Opening Reception* (Location: Charlottetown)
Saturday, January 26 (evening): Rock Show* (Location: Charlottetown)
Wednesday, January 30 (evening): Country Show* (Location: Summerside)
Thursday, January 31 (evening): Songwriter’s Concert* (Location: Georgetown)
Friday, February 1 (daytime): Conference Workshops (Location: Charlottetown)
Friday, February 1: Friday Night Live (Locations: Various across PEI – all locations may not need to be covered as there are 9)
Saturday, February 2 (daytime): Conference Workshops (Location: Charlottetown)
Saturday, February 2 (evening): Awards Gala* (Location: Charlottetown)
Saturday, February 2 (evening): Post Party (Location: Charlottetown)

Events where awards are being handed out, photography services include photo of award acceptance.
Shots at all events should include artists, fans, and panelists etc..in both candid and staged format.
Requirements
Photographs would remain property of Music PEI but may be used by the photographer for their own promotional use (subject to the permission of the subjects).
Photographs must be sized for web, Facebook and print (high resolution format suitable for printing and low resolution suitable for web).
Photographs received in the Music PEI office by Monday, February 18, 2013 on disc or flash drive.

Selection Procedure
Proposals shall be reviewed by the Music PEI Communications Committee
Selection will be made based on a best value selection criteria that includes price, references, unique products and services offered, experience/familiarity working in live music events.
Payment
Successful bidder will submit invoice and payment will be made upon completion of delivery of product. Successful bidder will also receive two complimentary tickets to each event (photographer + guest).
