Employment Opportunity at Music PEI
Each year, Music PEI hosts a music buyer’s conference called Showcase PEI. This event began in 2008 and has grown over the past five years to become one of the top music conferences in our region. Most importantly it is an opportunity for Island musicians to showcase their talent to a group of National and International delegates in an organized and intimate setting.
This year’s event is taking place September 22-25 and is it estimated that 30 delegates from around the world will be in attendance.
We are seeking a Project Officer for this event. Please see below for complete details.

Project Officer (Showcase PEI, 2013)
Duration:
June 17 – December 30, 2013
Eligibility:
Must be EI eligible which means you must either currently be on EI or had an EI account open within the past 3 years. This is non-negotiable as this position is funded by Skills PEI.
The Project Officer will assist all facets of the conference (booking travel and hotel, liase with delegates, setting up meetings, venue coordination, event planning, artist relations, etc…) which takes place September 22 to 25.
Applicants should have some previous experience working on events or conferences.
