Music PEI at Contact East 2015
This year, Atlantic Presenters Association (APA) brings Atlantic Canada’s premiere performing arts booking conference, Contact East, to Charlottetown from September 17-20, 2015.
Celebrating its 40th year in 2015, Contact East brings over 250 regional, national and international delegates to its host city each year and includes festivals, theatres, booking agents and more. It brings these delegates together with in-demand, tour ready artrs performers who showcase contemporary and classical music, dance and theatre. Music PEI is partnering with APA to present a late night Showcase Stage on Wednesday, September 16 from 10:00 PM until 11:30 PM. Four (4) 20 minute showcase slots are open to Music PEI members. Preference will be given (but not limited) to artists with a previous showcase and touring history.
Artists will be selected by jury and those chosen will be notified mid August. The deadline to submit is Friday, July 24, 2015 at 5:00 PM.
