Music PEI is now hiring for our exciting events, The May Run Music Festival and The Canadian Song Conference. This will be the second year for these re-branded events designed to help develop the Island’s music industry. 1 – May Run Music Festival Sponsorship Sales– Music PEI is looking for a determined, self-motivated individual to help solicit sponsorship for the festival. Music PEI will provide a full sponsorship package, a target list of sponsors, an office to work from and full support along with a retainer and incentive program. The contract will run from February to mid-May.
This is a contract position open to qualified people (with no Skills PEI restrictions) who have had sales, sponsorship or related experience.
2 – Canadian Song Conference Coordinator – The Conference Coordinator position is a Skills PEI funded contract and all applicants must be unemployed, currently on EI or be EI eligible in order to be eligible for the position. Ideally, Music PEI is looking for someone with music industry experience that is hoping to enhance and further develop his or her knowledge, experience and skills in the music industry. This is a 20-week fulltime contract and you will work as part of a team.
The Conference Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Executive Director in developing the Conference agenda, panels, workshops, finding and securing guest speakers and delegates, managing conference logistics and more.
