Booking and Managing a Tour in the UK & Europe

As the singer, songwriter and manager for PEI-based indie folk band The Burning Hell, Mathias Kom has over ten years’ experience touring, working with record labels, management, and booking agencies in Europe and the UK. Mathias will give an outline of his touring background, and focus on practical advice for musicians of all levels of experience who would like to explore the possibilities of developing their career across the Atlantic. From DIY touring and self-management to building an industry team overseas, this presentation will cover topics including tour booking, travel tips, work visas, tax regulations, festivals, press, and more. Everyone welcome – bring your ideas and your questions!
