After years playing and recording music on PEI, Ryan Hale made the jump into his other passion, videogames. Working for years with game development companies such as SculpinQA and Other Ocean he was eventually made Studio Head of Other Ocean Interactive in St. John’s Newfoundland. This new opportunity really allowed him to dig into all aspects of gaming, but especially music. Ryan has since had the chance to compose for a number of games and has also been a buyer for many top tier mobile apps and videogames. Join Ryan on May 22nd and let him walk you through all the facets of composing for game developers and learn what to expect when you get into writing music for videogames!
