Submissions Open For Americana-UK Showcase
Americana-UK is presenting their 6th annual showcase opportunity and conference via online in January 2021. Music PEI attended the event in-person in 2020 and presented 6 artists including Catherine MacLellan, Irish Mythen, Lennie Gallant, Dennis Ellsworth, Alicia Toner and Dylan Menzie. The event annually attracts hundreds of delegates involved in presenting Americana roots music in the UK, Europe and around the globe.
This year, due to COVID-19, the showcases and conference will be held virtually. Showcases will be pre-taped but presented live to the delegates and participants with live interaction. The dates of the conference are January 26th to the 29th, 2021.
Music PEI will select 3 artists from the submissions and will provide each artist with a venue and full production to pre-tape their showcase. Participants will also receive registration for the conference and networking opportunities with delegates.
To qualify for this event, you must be exporting or export ready, previous recordings and tour experience, a fulltime resident of PEI and a member of Music PEI.
