2024 Music PEI Awards – And The Winners Are…
Charlottetown, PE – On Sunday, March 10th, invited guests and the public joined the Island’s music community to celebrate the 2024 Music PEI Award nominees and winners at the Confederation Centre of the Arts’ Sobey Family Theatre presented by Atlantic Lottery. This was the first time in over a decade the event was open to the public and held at the Confederation Centre of the Arts, and it was a great turnout.
It featured stirring performances by top nominees Tara MacLean, Inn Echo, Sirène et Matelot, Noah Malcolm, joined by special guests Jenn Grant and Paper Lions and an incredible house band led by Musical Director Craig Fair. Hosted by Mathias Kom and Ariel Sharratt of “The Burning Hell”, the show was one to remember. The Awards Gala was held on the last day of a five-day celebration including concerts and showcases.
There were 25 awards that were given out and Noah Malcolm, Sirène et Matelot, and The Umbrella Collective led the way with two awards each.
