The wait is over—Music PEI is thrilled to unveil the lineup for the 2025 Music PEI Week! From March 4 to 8, the Island will shine with five unforgettable days of electrifying performances. With an incredible slate of shows at venues across PEI, this year’s Music PEI Award nominees and special guests are set to dazzle. It’s the biggest annual celebration of Prince Edward Island music, and you won’t want to miss a single beat.

Tickets are on sale now at Music PEI’s website and Locarius, PEI’s locally owned ticketing platform. Looking to make the most of it? Snag a festival pass and dive into as much music as your heart can handle!

Day one kicks off with a Sponsor reception at The Gallery Café, where, for the first time, the Buzz Album Art of the Year nominees will be on display. The exhibit runs from February 24 to March 10, inviting everyone to check out the stunning artwork of this year’s nominees.

Then, at 7:30 p.m., head to Grooves at The Guild, presented by The Gray Group. The lineup is a perfect mix to kick off the week, featuring Island icons like Richard Wood alongside rising stars like Lefunk, Bettii, Gizmo, and Pearly Gates.

Day two brings double the excitement with events happening in both Charlottetown and Georgetown! In Charlottetown, Out Loud Sessions, presented by Pride PEI, takes over The Guild at 7:30 p.m., featuring an incredible lineup with Dazey, Carlie Howell, Noah Malcolm, Inn Echo, and Joce Reyome. Meanwhile, in Georgetown, The King’s Playhouse hosts the Down East Stinger, presented by Ocean 100 and Hot 105.5. This stellar showcase includes performances from Shane Pendergast, Whitney Rose, Dennis Ellsworth, and Aubin Pi la S.C.B.

Thursday, March 6, 2025, kicks off with a brand-new festival highlight: Happy Hour Music Trivia from 4–6:30 p.m. at Evermoore Brewing in Summerside. This fun and lively event is more than just trivia—it’s a chance for nominees, sponsors, and guests to come together, laugh and flex their knowledge of the PEI music scene.

Later that evening, the SOCAN Songwriter of the Year Concert starts at 7:30 pm at the Scott MacAulay Performing Arts Centre in Summerside. Nominees Dylan Menzie, Gizmo, Lawrence Maxwell, Noah Malcolm, and Whitney Rose will perform in a cozy Songwriters’ Circle and give a glimpse into the stories behind the songs, and the SOCAN Songwriter of the Year Award will be presented at the end of the evening.

We’re excited to announce that the City of Summerside is the presenting sponsor of both Happy Hour Music Trivia and the SOCAN Songwriter of the Year Concert. It’s an honour to partner with the City as we bring Music PEI Week events back to Summerside, we hope to see lots of folks come out and support these events!

Also on Thursday, March 6, Craft Beer Corner plays host to the return of Rhythm and Flow-Case, presented by Maritime Electric. Starting at 7:30 p.m., this high-energy showcase features some of PEI’s top rap and hip-hop artists, including DEMIXX, Norm Strangely, Rightflow, BraedenV, and Cavy, with DJ Alley Cat spinning on the decks.

Day 4, starts with focus on all ages! Friday, March 7th begins with a Dry Happy Hour Mixer at Beaconsfield Carriage house from 5:00pm-6:00pm, where there will be a screening of our Music Video Of The Year award nominees’ videos! Followed by our All Ages Amplified show presented by PEI Mutual – with performances by 20 Eyes, Oakdrive, Space Bud, Heather, and Absolute Losers. Finally, music lovers won’t want to miss Music Mosaic, presented by Cavendish Farms, at Trailside Music Hall at 8 p.m. This event is quickly becoming one of the festival’s top-selling nights, with performances by Todd MacLean, Luisa Güiza, Tiffany Liu, Hikado, and Vishtèn Connexions.

Finally, Saturday, March 8th begins with the Awards Gala Red Carpet presented by Rodd Hotels & Resorts at the Confederation Centre Of The Arts. The red carpet event is where we celebrate our nominees and special guests while they make their way into the Sobey Family Theatre for the 24th Annual Music PEI Awards Gala – enjoying donations from some of our generous sponsors before heading off to the main event!

The 24th Annual Music PEI Awards Gala, presented by the Atlantic Lottery Corporation, will take place from 7 to 9:30 p.m., capping off the week with a celebration of the Island’s vibrant music industry. Hosted by Matt Rainnie, the evening will honor the outstanding achievements of PEI’s artists and industry professionals as the 2025 Music PEI Awards are handed out. Adding to the excitement, some of this year’s top nominees will take the stage, including Vishtèn Connexions, Dylan Menzie, Hikado, and Lawrence Maxwell, with Craig Fair’s stellar house band. And who knows? There might even be a few surprise guests to round out the night. Don’t miss this unforgettable evening of recognition, music, and celebration.

Sponsors, nominees, and special guests are invited to close out the night at the Whitecap Nightcap Official Awards Afterparty presented by Whitecap Entertainment featuring Take The Mic, PEI’s premiere live karaoke band.
