Over five years of performing across Canada, Coyote has become a recognizable name in the independent music scene. At events such as Rifflandia Festival (BC) Harvest Jazz and Blues (NB), East Coast Music Week, Canadian Music Week (TO), NXNE (TO), The Evolve Music and Awareness Festival (NS) and Halifax Pop Explosion (NS), Coyote has gained a reputation for their dynamic live show and well-crafted pop songs. At East Coast Music Week 2013 Coyote was awarded the first ever People's Choice Rising Star and performed on the Rising Star stage, one year after being selected as one of twelve artists for the first ever ECMA Breakout Stage mentorship program. They've shared the stage with artists such as Stars, Tokyo Police Club, Plants and Animals, Hey Rosetta!, Paper Lions, In-Flight Safety, Library Voices, and so many more.

Coyote released their 2nd album Proof of Life in September 2014. Produced and engineered at home in Prince Edward Island with Colin Buchanan (Paper Lions, Sorrey, North Lakes), the album features a charismatic sound that perfectly captures the robust live pop element of Coyote. Having earned the group Music PEI's Group Recording OTY and Pop Recording OTY in 2015, Proof of Life is now nominated for 3 East Coast Music Awards - Group Recording, Pop Recording, and Rising Star Recording of the year.
