Jessica Gallant
Jessica Gallant is quickly becoming Prince Edward Island’s most exciting Emerging Musical Artist.

Growing up in the world of Theatre, Jessica has performed all over the country acting in Canada’s most prestigious theatre festivals. She starred as the title role in Canada’s longest running musical, Anne of Green Gables, at the Charlottetown Festival, with critics describing her vocals as “pitch perfect”.

Through Musical Theatre, Jessica found her passion for writing her own songs. She picked up a guitar when she was 17 and hasn't put it down. Now at 23, Jessica has put music at the forefront of her career. With her storytelling abilities and electric performance energy, Jessica is on the road to become one of PEI’s most beloved musical talents.

In 2013, Jessica stood in front of 30,000 people at the Rogers Centre in Toronto to perform the Canadian and American national anthems.

Jessica recorded her first single, “The Way You Do What You Do”, for the national CBC Searchlight Competition in 2015. Out of hundreds of submissions, her song ended up in the final top 10 for PEI. You can hear it at

One of PEI’s most sought out music venues, The Trailside Café & Inn, has become a home base for Jessica’s concerts. She sold out two solo shows at Trailside in 2016 performing her originals, cover songs, and surprising the crowd with hilarious tunes from her Musical Theatre repertoire that left the venue in stitches.

Jessica created a musical outlet for herself via YouTube, with a series she titled “Singing in the Shower With Jess”. This series allows Jessica to explore her musical talents, covering hilarious song titles, mash ups, and performing original tunes. Her videos have gained over 30,000 views in less than a year.

Jessica is currently working on her debut EP, with a release date coming June 2016.
