Jorge Luis Peña Acosta is a professional musician from Cuba. He regularly performs with his brother Luis as one half of the duo, Los Hermanos Peña. They have performed in Europe many times and have recorded CDs in Barcelona and Paris.
Originally from Santiago de Cuba, Jorge is the youngest of 8 children. Everyone in his family is musical and music supports their strong family bond. His siblings say he was a very social child; always laughing, smiling, and singing. Nothing has changed. He loves being around people and singing songs about his people and culture.
Jorge’s English continues to improve, but there is no language barrier because his language is music. He can communicate with anyone, perform music with anyone, and quickly adapt to any genre of music. Every song is delivered with passion and a very high level of musical expertise.
