Cory Gallant
Cory Gallant was born and raised in Brockton Prince Edward Island. Since the age of 12, after he was shown a couple of chords on the guitar by his mother Cory has had a passion to play music. Cory left the island at the age of 19 and went to Nashville and recorded his first Cd, and while there sang at the Grand Ol Opry, and the Nashville Palace. Cory ended up in Toronto and began a 7 year stint with a band called the Bareback Riders as their lead singer and frontman. during this time Cory also started working as a Tim McGraw tribute artist, travelling the globe for over 5 years. This show brought him all over the United States, 2 tours to Tokyo Japan to perform for the U.S Navy, and back to back years at the Calgary Stampede. over the years, Cory has had the privilege to share the stage with Emerson Drive, George Canyon, Aaron Pritchett, Johnny Reid, Doc Walker, Mark Chesnutt, Gord Bamford, Marty Stuart, Trooper, Kim Mitchell, the Roadhammers, and Tom Cochrane. Cory now plays with the Pei based band Old Doctor Young and also is starting to book gigs as the Cory Gallant Band, showcasing more of the original material!
