The Ross Family

The Ross Family features three siblings who grew up playing traditional music together in their rural PEI home. The Ross Family plays a mix of traditional and original songs, as well as fiddle medleys with synchronized step-dancing.

Ongoing summer performances take place Monday and Wednesday evenings in Stanley Bridge at the Ross Family Ceilidh, now running for six seasons. Past appearances include the Evangeline Agricultural & Acadian Festival, Souris Acadian Festival, Northumberland Fisheries Festival, The Charlottetown Festival, and more.

The group has recorded two CDs, having debuted in 2007 with Island Feet, which was followed up by Prince Edward Island, I'm Coming Home in 2010. The latter was nominated for Roots/Traditional Group of the Year at the 2011 Music PEI Awards.
