Jace Patkai
Introducing Jace Patkai, an 18 year old from Alliston, Prince Edward Island. Jace grew up with music, mostly country. His mother, Jolee, currently entertains, and his grandmother, Erma Campbell, entertained since the 50?s with The Ed Mathews Band. Jace was always exposed to great fiddle music and ballads

In the last few years, Jace has developed an appetite and passion for music. He first started playing piano, then switched to his instrument of choice, the guitar. He began writing songs during his final year of school, and enjoyed the way people responded to his words. His first exposure to larger assembly was when he suggested to MRHS school officials that he would like to perform a song he wrote for graduation. He performed this song at his graduation ceremonies, and received a standing ovation. After that performance, Jace found himself taking his guitar to gatherings of friends, concerts and other events. He was able to sing his original songs to audiences who were very receptive.

This role of entertainer is one Jace wears very naturally. Jace?s style is quite unique, a mix of alternative pop and folk/country. He enjoys singing all types of songs, as well. Jace has created a genre with a unique sound and lyrics that delivers a positive message to a diverse listening audience. Ultimately, his short-term objective is to create a CD with all original songs. He has currently written over 16 songs. His long-term goal would be to perform widely and just get out there and be seen.
