Call for Submissions: Music PEI Showcase Stage at ECMW 2014 *PLEASE NOTE* There has been an amendment to the closing date of this showcasing opportunity. This submission for a showcase opportunity on the Music PEI Stage at East Coast Music Week 2014 will now close on Friday, February 21st at 11:59pm (AST) The showcase opportunity available is for one performance during Music PEI Stage at ECMW. The stage runs Thursday April 3 to Saturday April 5th at The Guild. This is an official ECMW showcase stage and performance fees will be paid according to the standard ECMW rate.

Music PEI Announces Nominees for Credit Union Music PEI Week 2014 Awards
Accomplished recording group Paper Lions leads the pack of nominees for the 13th Annual Music PEI Awards Gala presented by Ticketpro with seven nominations. The nominees for the 13th Annual Music PEI Awards were announced at the nomination press conference Thursday afternoon, December 12th at the PEI Brewing Company in Charlottetown. Ashley Condon was close behind with six nominations.

Over the past 3 years Music PEI has received cuts from our various funders while we have been increasing our activities and services to our members. It has become increasingly difficult to maintain the same level of service while experiencing reduced revenues. In the current economic climate, the provincial government has advised us to expect more cuts in the future.
